Vent et Eau pour la Vie, VEV, is an enterprise that repairs and installs wind powered water pumps in Senegal. They were supported by the AREED program due to their lack of capital for inventory and the purchase of an additional vehicle. These two limitations greatly hindered VEV's ability to quickly address repair issues because they would often have to wait until parts were imported or made and also ensure that the vehicle was not already out for another repair job.
