Room for improvement:  Sodigaz’s supply currently does not keep up with demand. In order to increase supply, they will need to address storage constraints and have an adequate truck fleet. In addition, some of the equipment is getting old and will need to be replaced.

Sometimes, end-users cannot afford the upfront investment required to switch to LPG, i.e., the deposit on the LPG bottle and the purchase of a stove. In order to resolve this problem, Sodigaz could work with stove dealers to create end-user financing options for the combined purchases of gas and stove. Since demand is still growing on its own, this may not be needed for a few years, but eventually it may be a potential option.

There have been some reports of poor customer service on the part of the distributors and some mismanagement of payments. There is enough demand that Sodigaz can select only the top distributors and eliminate those that are causing problems. This requires some type of screening process and occasional monitoring.
